Marketplace cooperatives need infrastructure they cannot easily finance.
We build it and license it to them. The platform, the settlement rails, and the governance machinery that makes member ownership enforceable instead of promised. We are a vendor to cooperatives. We do not own them and we do not run them.
What we build
Marketplace platform
Listings, escrow, settlement, and delivery verification. On-chain where that earns its cost, off-chain where pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Governance machinery
Non-transferable membership credentials, capped quadratic voting, patronage accounting, and constitutional limits enforced by contracts rather than by policy documents.
Formation scaffolding
Model constitutions, bylaws, and the operational work of standing up a cooperative, its founding cohort, and its treasury.
First concept
CardPact is a trading card marketplace owned by the independent game stores that sell on it. Sellers currently hand double-digit percentages of every sale to platforms they will never own a share of. A cooperative returns that surplus to the people who generated it.
CardPact Cooperative is a separate organization. It owns its members, its treasury, its governance, and its own name. Mana Dork Labs is its supplier, not its parent, and the licence between them is capped and published rather than open-ended.
That distinction is the whole point. A cooperative whose infrastructure vendor can quietly change the terms is not a cooperative.
